How it started
Leaving our pets is never easy. As a pet owner, we always want what is best for our furry family members, whether it is while they are in our care or someone else's. At Seatown Cat Care, I'm here to give you the peace of mind you need while your pet stays in the comfort of their own home. I am a former veterinary assistant with over 10 years of combined experience in emergency care, general practice, critical care, and specialty training. With a heavy professional background in the medical field (from humans to pets!), I can provide more than just standard drop-ins on your pet, and can offer peace of mind for owners who need an extra level of expertise.
Although my passion lies with animals of all kinds, I am undeniably an avid cat lover. Because my focus is exclusively on cat care, I can understand the subtle body language and unique changes in your pet's needs. I can confidently provide necessary medical care such as administering medications and injections, as well as managing complex health routines. I started Seatown Cat Care because I am tired of hearing horror stories of other over-populated platforms, with people who do not have the experience of care that some animals need. I wanted to make a difference, to give your cat the best one-on-one care they deserve, and the peace of mind that you need when traveling. I have extensive training with senior felines and special-needs pets. With a “tripawd” cat of my own, I like to ensure the environment is safe and accessible. I understand that every pet is different and has their own routine, and I'm here to help with anything your cat may need.
How It’s Going
My goal has always been simple: to provide knowledgeable and reliable care right to your doorstep, so that you can travel in peace without worrying for one moment about how your kitty is doing. That is what I continue to strive for, and will work hard to accomplish. I’ve met so many new best "furriends" and people on this journey, and I am so grateful to everyone who has welcomed me into their homes. That being said, I am a solo business owner - so I am often seeing multiple clients at the same time. I usually plan out my days (sometimes weeks in advance) just so I can prepare for what comes when it is time to care for your individual cat, and that will continue to be my priority. I personally handle every visit and work hard to ensure your pet receives my full and undivided attention at their visit. While I work hard to strictly honor every appointment - especially for those with precise medication or insulin routines- unexpected traffic or needs can occasionally cause a slight shift in timing but I will always communicate that to you (the owner) via text. I am so excited to keep growing, learning, and giving your pet the loving and best care they deserve!
